Academic and College Support |
PSL Student-Athletes, similar to their peers, have dreams of playing or furthering their education at a higher level. PSL's staff is committed to supporting that dream. PSL has developed a culture where everyone shares a sense responsibility to achieving those dreams. Our staff feels a deep sense of responsibility to supporting our student-athletes'. We seek to provide access to opportunities from academic support, connecting with college scouts, college access assistance, mental health support, mentoring, or employment. Our staff works hard to provide supports, build partnerships to bring the resources PSL student-athletes deserve to have access too.
Our academic support is focused on our high school players through our College Access and Assist Support program. Staffed by an experienced College Access Professional, this program offers PSL student-athletes the opportunity to be ahead of the peers. Starting as bi-weekly check-ins with students regarding their grades, assessing academic needs, and then transitioning into college starting the college application process. We help guide our student-athletes through the Financial Aid Process and assist students and families with selecting and committing to a college. |
